We were disappointed to find the hotel restuarant was not open for service and we could only have a meal in the 'Irish Bar' or order room service. The location was excellent for our early morning departure.
Top Tip
We were told at reception that we could expect to pay 30 euros for a taxi ride into central Paris. Our taxi charged 55 euros. (It arrived with 13.60 euros on the clock before we went anywhere). Worth having a firm price first as it made for a very expensive afternoone out.

I recently reserved a room with you at the Millenium CDG hotel because I had an early flight the following morning (7/22/09) and planned on using their shuttle service. Although I was in the lobby at the time that I was told by the night manager to be there (5:25 A.M.) and the shuttle was supposed to arrive at 5:30, neither the receptionist nor the concierge signaled the shuttle bus (a common bus used by many of the hotels in the area) to stop. The concierge ( if that was indeed the title of the young man busy talking with a friend) seemed to find it amusing that I had missed the shuttle and told me that I could call a taxi. Since my flight was scheduled to leave at 7:15 A.M., I had little choice and the resulting taxi ride cost me 20 euros! I would warn other travelers that the hotel staff takes little resposibility for the shuttle service (not the case in other hotel where I have stayed) and that they should be sure to be outside the hotel to flag down the shuttle themselves. In all, in attitude and in service, I found the hotel lacking.
